Ark volunteers have an great impact in environmental education as a park docent, teaching guests about our animal residents and more.

Help our Animal Keepers with a variety of projects on grounds including enclosure construction and facility improvements. We request that individuals who are interested in working on facility projects have some prior experience and an understanding of workplace safety measures.

Qualified individuals can assist our animal keepers care for and enrich the lives of some of our animal residents in the park.

Interested in volunteering? Fill out some info and we will be in touch shortly to schedule an interview. All Animal Ark volunteers do go through both an interview and an orientation process to ensure we are a good fit for you. Our volunteer coordinators will review your information and schedule an interview with you shortly.
Initial volunteer onboarding and training occurs twice a year in March and June. Volunteer registration is open year round.
